Edmame Dosa
Ingredients
1/2 cup chana daal
1/2 cup urad daal
1/2 cup rice
1 cup fresh edmames, shelled - if frozen, thawed completely
1" ginger, peeled & chopped
salt to taste
1/2 tsp asafoetida
sesame oil for roasting (any other oil will work too)
Method
1. Soak 2 daals and rice overnight.
2. Grind with remaining ingredients except oil.
3. Cover and keep aside for 2-3 hours.
4. Add water to get the pancake batter consistency.
5. Heat pan/tawa/griddle. Spread dosa batter. Roast using oil as necessary on both sides.
