Note -
1. I used periyar brand brown rice puttu flour. That gave brownish color to my puttu
2. My puttu maker needs to be steamed on the top of the pressure cooker.
3. I used kala chana instead of kabooli chana.

Kala Chana is the traditional beans to use in kadala, gravy looks mouthwatering. I bought a pack of Puttu mix, yet to try. Great combo, isn't ti? :))

Meera, puttu wt brown rice podi is more tastier than the white one, turns moist n we both like it. Both my kids don't care much hence hv to go for white variety :D So glad u took reference from my blog.Hope u all enjoyed it! (My mil washes, dries n powders the rice herself!)Thanks yet again.
WONDERFUL BLOG...lots and lots of mouthwatering dishes....ur puttu and kadala looks yummy..the puttu with brownrice is more tastier..white rice too ..the combination kadala is superb..another combo is puttu payar(moong dal) pappad and puttu with banana...
