I found a wonderful tawa pulao recipe at chef Sanjeev Kapoor's website. I tried to make it healthier by using more veggies like purple cabbage, carrots, different colored bell peppers and even moong sprouts!! So for authentic recipe - please visit chef Kapoor's original version!

never had tawa pullao...looks yummy...thanks fr introducing me to this new recipe.
I love the one being sold on Juhu Beach..Had tried it many times at home, sometimes it turns wonderful, other times so so..especially when my kid is going to share the same meal, coz then I need to make it less spicy...but I love it when its real real spicy ;-)
