I have that book, didn't try any of the recipes yet! Zero oil biryani looks great though, with choley in it, it's super healthy!:)
I have posted the ULTRA Pride too at Aroma. Don't have to comment but take a look. It's half the size of Grind, perfect of small family, am making a masala later today in that! :)
Wow Meera, I have tasted this from the same source at my friends place. My friend uses a lot of butter and she was doubtful when she made this, but it tasted very good. Divit loved it the best, all in one with some yogurt by the side.
Yummy...pls dont forget to send me the mail
This is a real neat veg biryani ecipe, with the balance of protein in it. I had once done it with black chana.. but this would definitely taste better.

Thats a delicious recipe! Looks awesome..
Hi Meera,
This dish reminds me of my student days!! Several of the the bachelor's at the student digs had mastered this recipe to perfection. It was the one dish they could be seen preparing at the end of the month when they had outspent their allowance:)
Apu
Thanks!! Wow, Ultra Pride already? I am thinking about that very seriously these days. Let's see!!

Yes, it tasted pretty good. Couldn't believe it's zero oil stuff!! Cool, isn't it?
EC:
Thanks for the reminder. I have sent it to you. Hopefully you got it.
Soma:
Thanks. I too liked it and garbanzo beans add a nice taste and protein.
Anu:
