Mango Pudding & Happy Republic Day, India!


For celebrating the republic Day of India, I thought of sharing the Mango Pudding from Cooking Light Jan 2009 issue.

My Modifications -
1. I used mango pulp and didn't use chopped mango for garnish.
2. I also added some cardamom powder for flavor.

I haven't blogged about Masale Bhat. But if you use mixed veggies like cauliflower, potatoes, green peas and follow my Tondli bhat recipe, you will get Masale bhat. For the authentic taste, use cashews and loads of ghee & serve with ghee, fried papads & mattha or spiced buttermilk.
