For JFI:chocolates, I wanted to make something quick and simple. Strawberries coated with chocolates sounded just right.

So here it goes -

Choco-berries (Serves 2)
5 smallish strawberries, preferably with leaves in tact
1 - 2 tbsp chocolate chips
1. Pour the chocolate chips in a microwaveable ramekin or bowl.
2. Microwave for 30 seconds, stir to see if the chips have melted. Otherwise, microwave again for another 30 seconds. Make sure that a chocolate sauce is ready.
3. Dip each strawberry from the lower part till it is partially coated with the chocolate sauce.
4. Place on the serving plate.
Note -
1. Microwave cooking time varies from the microwave to microwave. Keep checking to get the sauce like consistency of the chips. It should be done in 45 to 60 seconds.
2. You can coat the entire strawberry. I prefer partial coating to see three beautiful colors - deep brown of chocolate, red ripe of strawberry and green of the leaves.
3. Instead of chocolate chips, you can also use 2-3 pieces of dairy milk chocolate.

This post goes as my contribution to Jihva:Chocolates hosted by Deepz of Letz cook. Jihva series is started by Indira of Mahanandi.
